Please consider the argument you're working on. Do you really have some conviction (i.e., a meaningful position or stance) about the claim you're making or do you not "know where you're going"? Briefly explain.

Today's Learning Target:
I will be able to continue brainstorming for my thesis map by considering how to find subtopics for sample thesis statements.

I will know that I have hit the learning target when...
-I can explain how sample thesis meets important criteria for a strong claim.
-I can divide the sample thesis into three subtopics.

2. Working on maps and conferencing
